1960s

  • Became a member of the Garden Club of America (GCA) in 1960
  • Gave one of three fountains at the original entrance to the Arkansas Arts Center
  • Lanscaped grounds of the Museum of Science and History (now MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History) in MacArthur Park in partnership with Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department
  • Held GCA Zone IX meeting in Little Rock, 1969
  • Helped with landscaping of Arkansas Children's Hospital 

1970s

  • Arkansas Territorial Restoration nominated for the GCA Founder's Fund Award, 1974
  • Bicentennial Project: planted six Pin Oak trees on the east side of Pulaski County Courthouse
  • Lanscaped University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law School at Second and Center Streets
  • Placed Braille Markers on the trees at the Arkansas School for the Blind
  • Held flower show in houses on the Quapaw Quarter Tour of Houses
