  • Organized in November 1923 with five Charter Members
  • Helped start other garden clubs around the state
  • Assisted in passing state law prohibiting dumping and trashing of highways
  • Planted, maintained, and supervised the Old State House grounds
  • Restored the iron fence surrounding the Old State House grounds

1930s

  • Founded the Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs in 1931
  • Landscaped the grounds of the Little Rock Public Library
  • Formed the Civic Planting Committee to help with Old State House grounds
  • Helped organize the Little Rock Federation of Garden Clubs in 1933
  • Protected the wildflowers in Boyle Park
  • Organized Junior Garden Clubs in public schools
  • Participated in Arkansas Centennial Celebration (1936) by helping with a citywide cleanup campaign
  • Produced an exhibit for the State Flower Show
  • Made contributions to the Pulaski County Courthouse for flower garden maintenance
